5 Fun, Ongoing Bradenton Events for All Ages

If you spend all or part of the year in Florida, you know how lovely it is to get out and enjoy the beautiful Bradenton area. One of the many reasons to live here is the many activities available for residents. Who doesn’t want to get out and enjoy some of Florida’s sunny days? Check out these Bradenton events that you might enjoy.

Bradenton Events:

1. Music on Main

Come to enjoy an evening of outdoor music while taking in a lovely Florida evening. Each Friday night, there is Music on Main on Old Main Street, Bradenton.

Residents are invited to bring their chairs and blankets and enjoy some outdoor music.

2. Orioles Spring Training

Are you ready to watch a little preseason baseball? How about taking in some preseason games of the Baltimore Orioles. It is more cost-effective to watch a preseason game and more personal too. The crowds are smaller, and the game feels more intimate.

There’s nothing like watching some baseball under the Florida sunshine. The Orioles play at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota.

It’s also nice to know the Orioles don’t just come to Florida for baseball. They are active in the community with their philanthropic initiatives.

The Pirates train and play in Bradenton as well. Come out and watch both the Pirates and Orioles!

3. Movie Night in the Beer Garden

How about enjoying an outdoor movie night? Every Wednesday evening at the garden at Bradenton Farmers Market there is an outdoor movie night.

You can gather with friends or bring a blanket and lounge on the garden’s grassy areas. Each week a different classic movie is shown, from comedies to cult hits, rom-coms, thrillers.

The Farmer’s Market also provides popcorn for viewing pleasure. You can also enjoy a craft beer or signature cocktail from their menu during the movie.

The best part of movie night? You can also bring along your four-legged family member who will enjoy hanging out and catching some movie fun too. For the consideration of others, your four-legged guest must be on a leash.

4. How About Some Dancing?

Ready to try something out of your comfort zone and have some laughs too? Why not try learning some line dancing. Not only is it a fun group activity, but it’s also great exercise.

Jean Marcley’s “Tah Dah” line dance class is held at the Manatee County Central Library in Bradenton.

For more information on the dance classes, you can email jmarcleyhaha@gmail.com.
