Community Events for Palma Sola, Upcoming & Recurring

Do you want to meet your fellow neighbors? Do you want to attend fun and recurring community events for Palma Sola residents? For example, we have water aerobics, book clubs and many more clubs you can get involved with. Here is a list of community events we have for you:

Taichi – Will resume in October With Ms. Wong, Instructor

Pickle ball – Organized by Dave Berger, Building 17

Currently looking for a host to facilitate games. Please contact Vicki Gill at vicki@palmasolabayclub.com if you are interested.

Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Therefore, two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a Wiffle Ball over a net. Because there are several groups in the area, courts are within walking distance. Above all, this is the perfect opportunity if you enjoy being outside and playing on a team!

Water Aerobics – Every Tuesday at 4 PM with Pam Colburne, Instructor ($5 fee)

Water aerobics is the performance of aerobic exercise in a swimming pool. First of all, it is a type of resistance training. Secondly, exercising in water builds cardiovascular stamina, strength, and flexibility. As a result, helps burn body fat, increases circulation, and can help you rehabilitate healing muscles and joints. With so many benefits, you can see why you should join us in our resort style, heated pool. Seems like this can be a great option no matter the season!

A group of adults are in the public swimming pool and are taking a water aerobics class together. They have their arms raised in the air and they are holding floating dumbbells for a community event.
